Sports clubs are known for signing players, they pay the right fee for the players and also develop players they have in their academy or feeders team. So also it is in the outside world with organizations and companies.
Despite a player being paid a salary does not mean that the player will be able to salvage the needed points game after game and contribute to their journey towards being crowned champions. Performance is very key to the life of every individual as it portrays you as a productive, impactful, and goal-getter.
The same thing that happens in sports clubs also happens in many organizations just in a different way and manner. When a player is not contributing to the team's growth and drive toward the fulfillment and attainment of the goals, visions, and targets set at the beginning of the season, such a player is left out of the team.
Not as if the player is injured but just that the player is not performing to standard or living up to the huge expectations placed upon him that made the club go all out to sign him. Well, according to me there are five types of injuries in football: physical injury, emotional injury, psychological injury, spiritual injury, and performance injury. Well, I will talk better about them in my next post.
To be continued in the next episode. Stay tuned.
Thank you.
