HEALTH IN RELATION TO PHYSICAL FITNESS

Health in relation to physical fitness is a physiological state of well-being that reduces the risk of hypo kinetic disease; a basis for participation in sports; and vigor for the tasks of daily living. Components include cardio-respiratory endurance, muscle strength endurance, flexibility, and body composition.
Improving health through physical activity is easier than one think. One will gain significant health benefits just by adding physical activity to ones daily routine. The benefits will increase as one adds more activities to ones day. The best news of all is that physical activity doesn’t have to be very hard to improve health.

A good diet and adequate food supply are central for promoting health and well being. A shortage of food and lack of variety can cause malnutrition and deficiency diseases. Excess in take (also a form of malnutrition) contributes to cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancer, degenerated eye diseases, obesity and dental cares. Food poverty exists side by side with food poverty. Access to good, affordable food makes more difference to what people eat than health education.
