Still in the euphoria of the quarter-final match between Manchester United and Liverpool Football Club last week Sunday was a final in the quarter-final stage.
Playing it safe does not win you games but instead costs you games and valuable points. What makes a great tactician is the boldness to take risks as life itself is a risk and it is very risky not to take that risk.
Erik Ten Hag showed his boldness to take risks in the second half of the game whether it pays off or not. Today, my Coach I mean the coach of Watchtower FA in the person of Tayo Sobowale also took a risk in today's Elite League Week 7 game against RST. He removed all his midfielders and put in attackers (wingers) to play the CM and DM respectively while the only defensive midfielder went to play in the central defense.
Erik Ten Hag doesn't have anything to lose according to his second-half substitution and he did what has not been done for a while in the history of football. Using a central defender to play as a supporting striker and attacking midfielders and central midfielders to play as central defenders. A right winger to play as a left-back. You might say the players were played out of position but what I want you to know is that life is governed by instruction and if you are not willing to humble yourself to instructions and learn appropriately then you cannot go far.
Those players put the team first and wanted what was best for the team and that's why they could play those positions for the team. Playing those positions won the game for Manchester United and shows that when you are teachable and humble to put your team or others first ahead of you, there is no way that you won't win any battles of life. Instructions given at the tail end of the game were very crucial to Manchester United winning the game which left Mohammed Sala and Jurgen Klopp speechless after the final whistle was blown.
You don't have to understand or have the full details of the situation but you must know what is at stake and also produce the needed results that will make people ask how that was possible. Remember, life is governed by principles and principles are instructions that make one successful and also succeed.
