𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐑 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐓

It is important to have a killer instinct as an athlete and a team. How often do you kill off games and hold onto leads? Well, for every action there is a reaction in life and life requires a strong mindset to be able to succeed in life.

According to a Sports Psychologist, I define killer instinct is the ability to put a game to rest such that it is beyond the reach of your opponent to make a comeback even when it is possible.

When athletes struggle whether with their fitness or form or to perform week in and week out, it is a result of a lack of killer instincts to sustain and maintain high performance week in and week out. A lack of killer instincts is indirectly preparing for defeat now and then. A live example of this is Manchester United and Everton who find it difficult to finish most of their league games with maximum points despite leading at a point and that's why they are fluctuating this season.

Killer instinct starts from the mind and it is an individual thing that must be developed before uniting it with the team in games. When there is hunger, a goal, and a target that has been set then it makes it possible to hold onto leads until the match is over that is why it is good to never say never in life generally.

Life Application of this is:
1️⃣ Have a positive mindset such that you can easily influence those around you and push them towards their desired goal in life.

2️⃣ Do not write off any challenge or situation or circumstances or events that life throws at you but keep your morale high focusing on the result and not the beginning.

3️⃣ It is good to dream but dreaming without a strong instinct that you will put in the needed effort and do the needful will just make it a mirage.

4️⃣ Urgency in the right direction towards the right goal and desire is needed if you are going to be successful in life.

5️⃣ Full concentration with intensity to move closer to your goal and the realization of your dreams and destiny in life is needed as a slight lack of focus can lead to defeat or not being able to attain the needed height.

I conclude with this what cannot kill you only makes you stronger but strength without the know-how to finish well and strong will be an effort in futility.
